Take a trip to Oklahoma and you’ll see what America’s heartland is all about, namely a great state with a unique mix of cultures. Due to its geographic location, it also has diverse weather patterns with more rainfall in the east, which keeps it green, and much less in the state’s panhandle, where it’s much more arid. Being a huge farming and manufacturing state where goods are moved in and out daily, the main highways have many lanes, making it easy to travel throughout the state. And be sure to sample the comfort food. With fried chicken, catfish, ribs, cornbread, okra, and sweet potatoes the cuisine is predominately Southern, despite its strong Native American influence.
